Visitor Experience Design:

  • Review of written concept, advising on ways of tailoring the exhibition content to your target audience.
  • Development of visual/physical exhibition concept, providing a signature experience for your visitors.
  • Design of interior architecture, visitor flow, exhibition furniture, lighting and audio-visual effects, graphics, and object display.
  • Professional project management: cost estimates, critical paths, sourcing materials and services, tender documents, supervision of trades-people, fabricators and installers. Exhibitions completed on time and to budget.
  • Design team coordination: I can bring together a team of specialist designers to complete your project; including architects, engineers, graphic designers, audio-visual designers, etc., or I can work in with other personnel of your choice.
Museum experience:

I have worked with museums since 1988. I have worked as an exhibition technician, exhibition manager, and exhibition designer. I have worked both in-house and on contract.

Museums that I have worked for include; The Army Museum Waiouru, The Akaroa Museum, The Govett Brewster Art Gallery, The Museum of New Zealand (Te Papa Tongarewa), The City Gallery Wellington.
